Hydration is everything – Once you’ve brought your tree home, give it a fresh cut by trimming about 2-3 cm from the base of the trunk. This opens up the pores, allowing it to absorb water more effectively. Place your tree in a stand with a water reservoir and make sure it’s always topped up—Christmas trees are thirsty and can drink up to a litre a day!

Keep it cool – Trees love the festive warmth, but to maintain freshness, try to position your tree away from heat sources like radiators, fireplaces, or direct sunlight. A cooler room will help slow down needle shedding and keep your tree looking lush for longer.

Spritz for freshness – If you want to go the extra mile, lightly mist the branches with water to keep the needles hydrated. This can help maintain that gorgeous dark green colour and prevent drying out, especially in centrally heated homes.

Our Nordmann trees comes in a range of sizes to suit any home or space, whether you’re after a tree to fit snugly in a cosy corner or a grand statement piece for your living room. Each tree's height is measured to half leader, meaning we measure to the point where the top of the tree starts to taper, leaving the topmost part (the leader) to extend beyond this measurement, perfect for placing your star or angel.
